Sultan of Michigan'

For the record, I can't stand that the word "Sultan" is attached to a bald, middle aged white guy named Ken. Ken Lingenfelter is his name. For yet one more record, after that video came out and every $8 an hour hater on the internet trashed the shit out of him for having made good business decisions and getting paid for it, he was flabbergasted.

he worked HARD, make good choices and is reaping the benifits of his work! isnt that the Amercian Dream?
 
Dave, you gotta remember we are in the age of Obama...making money for yourself is no longer cool, its all in how much you can get handed out to you...screw the wealthy individuals who worked for their success
 
oh, btw, hung out with the Sultan last weekend, very nice man, didnt seem the least bit pretentious AT ALL. I dunno how people would get off calling him a Sultan. He acted like one of us, only his wallet was substantially fatter than mine
 
Amazing...really shows the times when someone who has worked hard and made a great life for himself is hated instead of revered.

I spent some time with him at the meadow brook concours and thought he was one of the nicest guys. Totally humble and a really nice person! he even let me inside the fence to take close up's on the Reventon.

blows me away thats what people think. RIP the american dream/what this countyr stands for (for those that need reminding: its about working hard, doing the best you can for yoursself and enjoying/doing what YOU like)

I never met Ken, buy my brother was friends with Ken's son since elementary school. My parents and brother have spoken with Ken on many occasions and have always said he's a super nice, down to earth guy and aside from seeing the cars he drives you'd have no idea he had anywhere near the money he does. It's a damn shame he gets treated that way.

I for one am somewhat surprised he went so public with his car collection. I've heard about the various cars he has/had for many years and it always seemed like it was a pretty top-secret thing (from what I understood no one knew where they were kept for instance) until a year or so ago when the pictures first started spreading around on the internet.
