strut/shock opinions

wondering what brand of dampers i should go with for my build. it's primarily a street car for cruising and enjoying, occasional drag race. i'd like something i can soften up for drag and stiffen back up to make it handle. double adjustable would be nice but not necessary.

looking into koni yellows as a good one right now.

I'm looking at yellow Koni DA's. But even on thier softest rebound settings I don't thing you'll get a fully optimized drag setup. They are better at controlling high spring rates for handling setups.

For a highly tunable street/strip setup, a double adjustable Hal/QA1 setup might not be a bad idea.

Take a look at the Strange shocks and struts. They are 10 way adjustable, I have heard nothing but good things about them. I think jegs sells them and they are reasonably priced.

I run the Strange shocks/ struts and really like them for the price. For the rears, just make sure you know if your car lifts or squats....then get the brand that will dampen the correct way (compression or rebound).
