I guess this happened, Sunday in Birmingham Alabama.....
2 mustangs racing, one crashes hitting a person. Someone, dont know if it was the driver or someone in the crowd was also shot and killed for wanting to take the person who got hit to the hospital. Both people died.
A bad situation which just got worse. Someone trying to help another person, killed....

here is a video of the crash.... you dont see anyone get hit or shot... but just so you know, it happened.

Wow, I have never watched a street race in person. It it Normal that the people line up along the runway like that? I am no rocket scientist but there is no way in hell I would be say out 100 yards along the side waiting for them to blow by. Screw that!

What a terrible event none the less R.I.P. to both of them!

you'd be suprised

RIP

Damn! That's some crazy shit. Why would you shoot someone trying to help? I wonder if it was the driver that crashed?

I think everyone on here will agree that this race, taht resulted in two deaths wasn't worth it.

But is racing on the street worth it? When there is a chance that someone will get hurt or killed?

If you want to race on the street, go out in the boondocks and race out there, so if you mess up, or break a part and lose control, you're only hurting yourself.

yeah, i have been to the Detroit drags on the east side... i will never go there again. simply is not worth it. my friend lost his red evo for a 20 spot a gear wtf... his car was appraised at 42,000 dollars. totaled he almost lost his life. i raced a few times in a turbo honda s2k i built for a friend, but after that i have never felt the need to prove anything to some broke ass losers who think street racing is a way to get respect. anyways the a real street race is pretty much just like that. yo have one guy to flag one at the end to say who won and a guy to hold the spot kids do line up literally 3 feet away from cars that produce way to much power for normal roads. If thats not already bad enough ad in all the boose and drugs and shit and you have the ingredients for disaster

if you watch the first video closely youll see that shortly after launch the dark mustang gets loose..youll see at the same time the camera man points his camera down to get out of the way..im guessing the dark stang got loose and overcorrected and hit the white one

i just watched the 2nd video..yea thats waht happend..kinda fucked up

people who do this are stupid..people who line up to watch this are even stupider

That's why I like to be at the starting line. Alot safer then anyother spot on the road.

Krazy- Yeah people line up like that and even worse. They'll line up IN the street trying to see the cars and then step back out of the street as the car gets closer

I have no idea why anyone would want to be at the 60ft mark or down near the end of the 1/4 mile right on the road unless they had a death wish, or are just retarded. I say Darwinism at work.

i dont think i will street race anymore after seeing the crash at ubly and all this....shit i dont even have a cage in my car yet !!! your car dont have to be fast to get killed !!!!
i have only street raced 6-7 times and i think i am done with it !!!
