***Stolen Truck Alert/Reward For Recovery***

We think that's what happened with the last one. There was a report of a dump truck being used to do that right around the time our last one went missing.

We are going to start blocking them in (non-PATS key) vehicles. It's fucking sad we can't display our vehicles without some the scumbags trying to steal them.

While taking the initiative is a good thing, We all know a thief will find a way, even if it means smashing threw other vehicles or obstacles to get out with there new free ride. You can do just about anything and the scumbags will either find a way or move onto the next available target. It doesn't get much more brazin than stealing a brand new giant RED dumptruck, does it?

Well cutting a chain and stealing a Red Mustang on a trailer is right up there

my theory... some crooked bastard with a a landscape/construction company will end up with it in a few months with a VIN that was removed from a wrecked salvage titled superduty..

I'm sure it's being parted out as we speak.

Looks like it was first thing in the morning 7 or so. Guard was either gone or doing his rounds.

Cant really knock the guard too bad, I mean im sure the theif/theives were well aware of the guard and waited for him to come threw and leave the area, then jump in and steal it. The only thing the guard ever noticed is maybe it driving by. Also did you guys ever think about how much diesel fuel was in the truck? depending on how far they were planning to go they had to stop somewhere to get gas or have someone bring them 5 gallons.

Yeah blocking doesnt work. Someone broke into a friends pollbarn and used a cadillac to shove a bobcat out of th way to get to a mercedes... Owners fault for leaving keys in the caddy!!

Imagine a car slamming into a bobcat a few times to move it..

how often does varsity get ripped off? Obviously vehicle theft isnt super common, but do you get wheels and stuff ripped off? I know when I worked at briarwood ford years ago, we would get 3-5 vehicles left on 4x4 wood blocks, and/or the jack from inside the vehicles. They would hit every couple months. I remember at least 4 instances over a 1 year period.

It's pretty rare. In the last couple years we've only lost 3 including my car. Every once in a while we have wheels stolen, but nothing too bad. We had a couple tailgates taken, but that's because the porters weren't locking them. We have been fortunate not to lose much inventory. It just hurts when a 40k truck goes missing.
