Stolen Boat. 99 280 Powerquest

I hate thieves, most likely bored kids. make up flyers to distribute to all local marina's/repair places/prop shops. Powerquest boaters forum/registry. Make it a wide area, it could be in port Huron.
Powerquest is not that big of a company, making them easier to recognize, so it should show up if someone tries to part it. Although, engine and drive components are standard stuff.

Im sorry to hear that. That is a nice boat for sure. As others have stated, what the hell do you do with a stolen boat? lol

part them out. I'm sure the boat will show back up just stripped. Don't really care about the boat that's what insurance is for but we Will pay to have the thiefs caught.

Said it to high light the more populated boating areas of the state close to his location, it will be easier to offload parts with little questions. But them stealing a performance boat, doesn't make me think they are that smart.

My God, who has balls like this? Seriously who the fuck has balls big enough to steal a fucking boat. It's not like you can outrun the cops or even lose them in traffic. Insane!

Its about as easy as hooking up a trailer with a mustang on it and driving away. No body would even notice or think twice about it. Boats are stolen all the time.

Did you even have a lock on the hitch?

I was driving north on I-75 this morning and I saw a white 4 door Chevy silverado pulling a boat very similar to this. Size, graphics, and trailer looked similar. Not 100% sure, but they were driving south on 75 at exit 89 when they passed me going the other way. Again not 100% sure, but it looked close to this. I tried getting on motown as quick as possible, but they were going the other way so I only caught a quick glimpse. Good luck man.

I also saw a large powerquest hooked to a black suburban at the corner of John R and Avon Rd in a light industrial complex yesterday. Parked, but cant remember well enough if the graphics were the same or not

Ouch!

I think a large boat like this would be a lot harder to hide than a car.

Not if you've got a shop in an industrial area like most boat repair places. The engine(s) don't take more than an hour or so to take out. theres not much too them. Dumping a hull that big would be tough though. Its not like a jetski where you could cut up the hull and toss it in the dumpster.

Good luck man, that is a beautiful boat too! I will be out this weekend in Toledo, I will keep and look out.
