Vacuum tube audio processor for sale
I bought this new a year ago for $300, Grant Fidelity now sells them new for $215. Unit has USB, optical, coaxial, and 2 analog inputs. There are 3 outputs, tube, solid state, and headphone. The headphone output its routed through the opamp on the solid state output. This unit gives music a very 3D sound, with a very nice SNR of 110dB. The tube output stage will give anything that sweetness youre looking for. I replaced the stock Russian tube with a new-old-stock General Electric 5670 tube...which further upgraded the sound. This will be a serious upgrade from nearly any computer sound card, CD player, or DVD player. Youll have to spend quite a bit to exceed the sound quality of this one. It doesnt do 5.1, only stereo. The unit also functions as a preamp. Both tube and solid state outputs can be run simultaneously so you can bi-amp a pair of speakers, or run 1 or 2 powered subs along with a separate power amp for your speakers. $125 OBO
