Guys.... because of the good turnout we had at the last track rental trunk and I had some additional funds that came in from the track rental.... We figured since were not looking to make money on those track rentals that we would offer it up as a cash bonus to the fastest car agian.... how much you ask???

how does a nice big fat check for $500.00 sound??

Quickest Pass of the night takes it home!

What do you guys think?? Is that fair?

The track will be sprayed the entire lenth and should be hooking like it was last rental... C all you guys there

We had a NO ET winner this past time. Both racers that thought they won brought time slips and the winner was awarded.

Actually, what I think we should do is have the Two fastest cars of the night race for the money.... .400 pro tree... heads up grudge match. make the fastest car earn his keep...

Just remember guys... Nikki is hanging on the edge of 180 mph now as the this year's World's Fastest Female on a Street Tire.

If she comes out to play you might not be able to run the top two ET runners against each other head up. :)

Yes he said cars for the run off but not the prize. :) Nikki is running 8.2xs these days which is why I was reminding them that the fastest ETs might not be a car. :)

Sounds like bullshit if you ask me. Running "No ET" heavily detracts from the spectator experience and erodes the sense of community that we share in Motown. Just my opinion.

I won't show up to spectate for reasons including this one.

If I go it'll be to make a few 12 second passes and just have fun.

I'm not trying to give you guys a hard time, I think it's very nice that you can offer some cash prizes, my only point was that prizes should not be bestowed upon "No ET" cars as I think that goes against the grain of a community car club, as well passively endorses street racing.

Sorry for that hideously long run-on sentence.

Sorry to hear you are so PC. I know NO ET promotes street racing so much that most tracks band it. We have begged Milan to let us just so those horrible street racers have a place to test their cars.
 
And that's a good point. I'm not against the idea of "No ET", more the promotion of it and rewarding of it. That's all. I look forward to watching the big boys run..
