For those wanting to book at Straits State Park, the day to book is Dec. 25. Yes, thats right, Christmas. That's exactly 6 months from June 25, which will be our first night up there. I just looked and we have just about every site to pick from.

I'll be booking my lower campground waterfront site 1st thing christmas morning. There were a couple of you interested in the state park again so if you want more details feel free to ask or call me if you want.

Thats where i'm booking. It's definitely "quiteter" down there than upper, so that might not be for everyone. The waterfront sites don't have power though.

I thought you guys were booking at KOA? I'm just made this post because I think there were a few interested in staying at straits again regardless of what the masses decide.
 
I really can't see booking an even quieter site than the ones we've had in the past recent years. Seems like a BIG step backward. If I wanted an even quieter getaway I'd hang out at a retirement home for that long weekend.
