spotted something weird.

so i work for office depot and i had to run to the store in Northville to do an item transfer, and im driving up i-275 and i saw a mustang GT500 with some of that plastic cladding, a manufacturer plate, and it was a Vert. there was a laptop in the pass. seat so i think it was a development vehicle. here the weird thing, he shifted and went past me and i could have swore i heard a blow off valve.

anywho just thought i would share that with you.
 
Ford is looking to add a twin turbo Ecoboost V6 engine to the Mustang lineup for 2010 in an attempt to meet the 35mpg CAFE standards by 2020. The Ecoboost V6 is said to be capable of nearly 415 horsepower with the torque of a V8. However they aren't dropping the V8. Instead their plans are to produce three Mustang models which include the naturally aspirated 4.0L V6, the twin turbo Ecoboost V6, and possibly a 5.0L V8.
 
iT would be like ford trying to turn the stang into a probe all over again! Something about a rumble of a V8 that calms me down, the only 6 i like are GN's,typhoon,syclone's but like most stuff it would have to grow on me .

I know to bad the ford might be a stupid Turbo v6, what a dumb idea. HAHA.

almost all the new technology turbo cars are very tunable.

The ecoboost makes 30 more lb/ft 1000 rpm sooner than the 3v 4.6. Fast is fast..... those of us "enlightened ones" (ie turbo 6 owners) know. ;)
