spherical bushing question

I have a stock 8.8 in my mustang and im ordering the upr set of adj. upper and lower control arms and i was wondering for the uppers do i have to run a spherical bushing in the rearend or can i run the stock ones. pics of the ones im buying

ok thanks if i order them ( spherical bushings ) will i need a press to put the new ones in? someone told me it was a bitch to get them out and in

heat and screw driver u can get the spherical bushings but u can also get poly ones too for like 30 bux if u wanna save some loot

If you street the car and dont like noise I would go with a poly bushing....I had stock bushings for 10 years in my rear and been drag racing the car the hole time. I put a set of team-z solids in when the rear was out and the car is noisy...If its a drag car you will benefit from solid but expect to have noise back there...

If you do go solid take a 5lb sledge and smack the old bushing cup a couple times and they will pop right out.

If you go with a poly bushing you may need to reuse the cup that is pressed in the ear.. you can burn the old rubber one out if you want or drill holes all around the bushing and then they will rip out when you pull the old bushing.. Good luck and be patient

I used a hole saw & a little wire wheel. With a good drill it took about 45min.

when u put the new ones in make sure u use some kind of sanding wheel or dremel so it will slide in easier

they make a tool to press them in and out fairly simple.....or feel free to "shadetree" them.....
