Does anyone know if I can get my spedo to work in a 1999 mustang with a turbo 400 trans? Any advice would be appreciated!

you'd need a early 90's truck sender with a 3/4 truck and digital or electronic dash. For the life of me I can't remember the part number but its a gear driven VSS sender. The other thing you will need a is a speedo converter box to calibrate the speedometer.

Create the signal off the trans? I have the reluctor rings and pickups for th400's, but I also have a pulse generator that is a in line generator, that allows a cable to attach(gm style) , using the factory speedo gears. The factory reluctor is 40 pulses, and the aftermarket one (dana part used in cruise controls, relatively cheap)
produces only something like 8 pulses.
I used some in the past from some digital guage company to convert the pulses...It did not work well for converting the signal back to the ecm.
Sean, Who makes a converter box, and can it be used to alter the signal back to the ecm(like for gear & tire size changes)? And have you found one that works in gm ford & chrysler? Ive seen boxes before, but most were vehicle specific.
