After a 2 year hiatus of broken optisparks and black flags, Spectator Racing is back on top!

Last weekend we had 3 races, ending with 2 wins and a DNF. The DNF was by choice, for a change. No more watching the race go by while parked in the infield.

If you want to waste ten minutes of your life check out the video below. I had a great start, followed by two boneheaded moves (hey, it's been 2 years!), finished with some awesome racing between me and another C4. I actually raced up a class as there was nobody in PTA where I normally run, but it turned out to be a pretty even fight.

It was my frist time at the Beaver, so my line is far from perfect. I don't think I got the last turn (with the water tower) correct more than 3 times the entire 35 minute race. I cut out several uneventful laps in the middle and end, and threw some footage near the end of the race when the ST1 Vipers caught up to me to show what 600 RWHP can do...

The black Firebird in front of me at the start (and later in the race) is Johnny in the grass (Quasar), mofo can drive. I'm going to capture the rest of the footage I have of him all sorts of sideways and post it later.

I'll bring my bikini for Mid-O.. that will be even more excitement for ya John since you guys swiped the blow up doll and did bad things to poor Lacey

You should make him paint the front of your car for all the shit he sprayed from dropping two off!!! OMG
 
Yeah, I almost didn't want to pass him so I could enjoy the show. Almost.

His best work was in the second Sunday race, but I forgot the camera in the trailer. We were both pissed about that.
 
hey do you have any video yet with your GoPro HD? I'm not happy with this one. The video is fair to medium, and the fish eye makes everything look much farther away than it is. That kink at the end of the straight is brutal, on video it looks like there's miles of room after it to get slowed down.

Pavement, curbing, rumble strips, cones, grass... whatever I have to drive over get the hell out of my way!! "loose is fast".. Live by it!!!

It was a great weekend. Little hot but a ton of fun. Nothing quite like 140 thru the kink and then the ass end coming out as you get on the brakes. Congrats to Cisler on the (2) wins in the (2) points paying races! Can't wait to see the rest of the vids!

Really, you don't think you're at least high 130? I got a really good run down the hill once and took a peek before the kink and it was 130-something, never lifted thru it and then naturally ran out of braking zone.
 
I didn't think so, but I don't have a speedo. If you looked at yours then that's better than my guessing...I about topped 4th gear, but I don't know what that equates to in mph. What about down the front straight?

I was basing it on the fact that the Z06 guys get to about 135 in the back of Mid-Ohio, and I basically run down the straight with them. I seemed to get to about the same spot at the Beav in 4th.
