The kits (Ultima or SLC) are around $42k. You will assemble/build the kit yourself. You then need to supply an engine and transaxle. The Ultima uses a flipped porsche box. Those range from $5k-15k. The SLC uses a Ricardo unit (same as their GT40's). I am told those can currently be had for around $7k. If you are on a budget a take-out motor could be used. Many used to use SBC's in the Ultima's but have since changed over to LSx type motors. And the SLC also mainly uses LSx type motors. However, MANY other motors could and do get used in these. It is entirely up to the builder. Anyway, depending on what odds & ends you add to the car it can cost as little as $50k and well over $85k with details like navigation, traction control, etc.
Now they will sell you a completed rolling chassis as well (Still need to add the engine/transaxle). I know the Ultima was around $89k and I'm not sure where the SLC would fall. But that would put the kits over $100k completed.
Dang, beat me to it. Yeah, that $30k is the base kit. But most people want the AP Racing brake upgrade, and many other options. And they offer free shipping if you spend $41k.

You laugh, but shipping is not cheap from the UK. That is why they prefer to bulk ship everything you need. A few guys over here messed up some cuts and had to order some more pieces. Paid more for the shipping than the parts themselves.
I'll take one with one of the 7.3l AMG engines in one of these. I'd be happy to pay the tickets that result from driving in tunnels until my license gets suspended.
