I am finally closer to getting all the little issues on the vette taken care of. As you can see from the pictures I still need to take care of hood alignment and notch the hood brace a little more so it clears the turbo. That plus a little under hood cleanup and it will be all set!

Seriously dude, that car is beautiful. I've always likes the FRC but I've not seen one in your color. Usually silver, red, white, or black. And you said "turbo"?!

Get up some engine pics and spill the details. BTW, all cars are a work in progress so don't sweat it. :thumbup:

I'm looking to buy an FRC soon... I love those cars.
 
what's FRC? I assume its something to do with the roof looks like a vert with a hardtop? Anyways looks good, the shade of blue is growing on me, not sure if I would be ready to buy something that color though.

FRC stands for fixed roof coupe.
 
one of the cars on my list to "own one of these days" is a fixed roof C5. love those cars. and the Nassau Blue looks good on your car with the C6 Zo6 wheels/brakes. usually i don't care for that color but it looks good!

To add. Its the same roof as the C5 Zo6 (dubbed the "bubba" vette by GM insiders) they were offerd untill the Z came along then it was adapted because the cars are lighter weight with stiffer chassis.

I definitely like the way the z06 wheels look on the car. The car used to look totally different when it had the stock wagon wheels on it.

I plan on getting the underhood items taken care of this weekend. I will post pictures of that this weekend.

As far as the details go, the car has stock 6.0 ls2 shortblock with l76 heads and a cerra single turbo kit with a t72. Right now I am keeping the boost to roughly 5lbs.
