Some of my dad's projects / toys

Here are some pics of my dad's cars. He is not one to sit still and keeps working on things. He just sold a 66' Chevelle project he was working on. But currently in the stable is a 1937 Chevy Sedan (chopped) that we built 20 years ago. And he just recently reacquired.

A 1956 El Camino. It was originally a wagon that he chopped the roof off of and converted into an El Camino. Hopefully that one will be at Woodward this year.

A 1937 Chevy Pick-up that we turned into an extended cab. You guys have seen that out on Woodward with us a few times now.

And a 1958 Chevy mild custom that he has been cruising with for a few years and is not putting up for sale if you know anyone interested.

Enjoy!

Damn! Beautiful cars! My son especially likes the '37. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! I helped with both 37's. The others he built after I moved to MI.

Dad has good taste. Very cool, thanks for sharing.
Thanks. Can you tell he's a Chevy guy?

Yep, those are sweet. I dig the garage a lot as well.
Thanks. The garage used to be a barn. I think we can cram up to 10 cars in there. ;)

That's a nice collection - so many toys to choose from. LOL
Thanks. He is lucky to be able to enjoy his hobby.

Very cool collection there Tony, your Pops is a cool guy in my book. Thx for sharing.
Thanks. He's a pretty good guy. ;) Many of you have met him on Woodward. He is out here every year he can be.

That custom chevy truck with the extended cab looks sweet what kinda engine does it have?
Thanks, that was a lot of work. We used doorskins to stretch the body and then had to pie-cut the roof of the truck and add metal to make it all work. Set it on a S-10 chassis. I believe it has a 383 SBC in it at the moment. Been trying to convince him to try a LS motor, but thus far have been unsuccessful.

So awesome and I appreciate the diversity in vehicle types and colors: makes for a much more interesting collection for sure.
Yeah it is a nice mix. I gave him Zaino for christmas one year and that stuff just makes those base coat / clear coat paint jobs glow!

nice i love the shoe box the most
Would that be the 56? Yeah I am liking how that turned out. Hopefully that will be out for Woodward this year. ;)

Was just gonna say the same thing lol Garage looks awesome almost exactly like what I would like to have. Nice collection for sure!
Yeah he originally bought that house for the garage.

Great collection. Your dad is a talented guy for sure.
Thanks Dave. Yeah he has got some skills. Hopefully I will learn them myself one day. Just takes time and projects with a little $$ to fund them.
