Well I cant even begin to tell you how excited I am. Tonight I just dropped off my TBSS at Billy Briggs and Rich Gala's shop called Motorcity Speed. I bought 8 rib and extra heat exchanger from Joe at Left Coast '32, Billy ordered me a custom grind Comp cam, Comp springs, puch rods and retainers. Built trans with a billet output shaft and a 3200 stall. I also bought a LS1 Efan off eBay and bought all the PCMforless supporting hardware to mount and for wireing. Billy and Rich are gonna base line pull the truck tomorrow and then start diggin into it but it will be a fun build, they are going to document the whole build with videos and pictures. I will keep you all updated. Well I have to get back to work I have a big meeting tomorrow morning and needed a little release from the presentation I am working on. Thanks and I will keep you all in the loop.

I wonder if I will make the 500awhp club.... TBA!

do they have the AWD dyno still? I lost track of it after W2W closed, but still would like to know who is running it? I think Rich ran the dyno at W2W?

oh yea, your truck is going to fly!

Hunter, Are you upping the boost on it also? You'll be able to hold a little more than 6psi on that LS2 now that your trans is getting beefed up a bit. Only reason I ask is that pulling 80awhp from a cam swap and switch to electric fans might be a little tough. Although the car will be noticably quicker even at the same power levels just from the supporting mods.

Turn that thing up to 10psi and let her rip

I am going to run as much boost as possible! should be between 8 ans 10 psi!

Next Weekend Saturday the 29th is when Stephen Nicholson and I are getting are trucks dynoed! We are having a group meet up there and it should be a good time. Billy and Rich are going to have a special dyno price for pulls for anyone else that would like to have their car pulled. After we have out at the shop and check it out and make the pulls maybe all cruise out to get something to eat!!! I think it would be a fun morning, welp there you have it! I will get back with dyno prices after they tell me.

I was just asking Rich about AWD dyno time :)

$175/hour was the price I was given. 1 Hour min.
$500 for them to tune it while on the rollers.
Dont know if thay have a discount for single pulls??

I will put this on my calender

anther thing I have seen with the eaton/magnachargers 112's is the IC core in the intake is tiny, and the TVS ones are like twice the length. If you have your head unit off/ or not on yet you might see about adding a larger core. The 112's heat soak really bad on the LQ9's and I dont think the LS2 is any better. Adding extra HX(heat exchangers will only help so much).

AND I also know a guy who is making custom spacers to seperate the head unit from the IC tub to help more with the heat soaking. He is seeing some really good IAT #'s

good luck getting into the 11's

are you going to add meth injection? or N2o?

Really I might be intrested in the spacers... Right now I am trying to be the first stock block AWD in to the 11's with the 112. I think that I am on the right track. No meth or N2O (yet)... I really want to get an 11 second run. Then once I hit that I will spray it to see if I can take the fastest short block TBSS, right now I think it is in the 11.4X's.
