I was at someone's house today looking at a few things I was going to be purchasing from them. The seller had a young son who was out in the driveway on his bicycle. I think when we weren't looking he must have fell into my car with his handle bars and put a nice 6-8 inch scratch in the clear coat. I tried tooth paste, meguiars scratch x 2.0, then my touch up paint pen from Ford. All in all I think I made the area worse once I put the clear on and decided to wipe the access off with a blue towel. This is going to drive me nuts until its back to normal! Any members good at fixing these types of issues?? I'm sure a DA could do a much better job than by hand but I'm thinking it may now take some wet sanding which is one thing I don't feel comfortable with. Thanks guys.
