I have a 1994 Mustang v6 (3.8L). Whenever i start to accelerate it hesistates and it sounds and feels like its running on 5 instead of all 6 or like their not firing right. I jstu replaced my O2 sensor which helped. But now its running bad again and my check engine light doesn't turn on. Sometimes i hear a loud Popping coming from either my engine or my exhaust. Any Ideas what it could be? My last diagnostic said running too lean bank one. The 02 sensor said it fixed it but i dont know. I have a cold air intake and dual exhaust. Still too much air?

Yep alwayse rule out basic maintenance first......once your sure your tune up is good, and you have fuel.....I would then start checking things like coil pack, transmission......Hook it up to a scan tool, just because your engine light did not come on doesnt mean you dont have any codes thrown...

Sounds to me like you have a vacuum leak on the driver-side of the intake manifold.

This will make your engine light come on but you could try this:
--Vehicle OFF, KEY OFF
-Unplug the MAF sensor
-Start Car

If it runs okay/better with the MAF unhooked then you have a vacuum leak. If not, check everything else listed in this post.

Good luck.

yeah or try switching back to your stock setup and see if it runs better.

or try my suggestion and let us know if it runs better with maf unplugged.

then that means your issues is probably:

Basic maintenance stuff
plugs, plug wires, fuel filter......etc etc

Lol I knew it would be something stupid. The freaking breather filter my friend decided to put on without telling me wasnt getting enough air so i plugged the vacuum hose back in. Thats what happens win you let ur ricer friend touch your mustang haha
