So I had a very interesting experience with the dealership.....

Perseverance! I don't always follow my own advice but I recommend it all the time, even to complete strangers. Don't take any shit!

So I went in and talked to the general manager and finance guy and went through it all and got it fixed, got a check for the interior insurance and the license plates they charged for when I transferred and 10 free oil changes. And obviously they fixed all the loan amounts.

Great news. Glad it worked out!

Your lucky. Last Dealer experience I had (Ed Rinke Chevrolet) they switched vehicles on me. My daughter picked out a used vehicle, road tested it to my shop... we put it up on a hoist to inspect it... looked great... returned to the dealer at 5-6 pm as they were closing and told them we would be back in the morning. Secured funds and returned when they opened with a cashiers check & proof of insurance... and the vehicle they brought out looked identical... just had a different VIN> At the time my brother in law worked at Rinke (he even suggested the sales rep) and intervened but I told him not to bother.
Needless to say we did not buy it and purchased a vehicle at another Dealer.

I would not recommend Ed Rinke Chevrolet to anyone....ever.

I have had pretty good luck with their service department. On my 2012 Camaro they replaced the convertible top under warranty at 35,500 miles and actually had the work done at Shelby Trim. I get most of my "Free with lease" oil changes there too. I have never bought from there though.
