So, I figured out the strange noises coming from my chimney.

Pulled these little bastards out through the flue. Had to smoke the mom out. No way I was listening to these things for the next 6+ months.

My friends wife takes care of them and releases them up north.
 
Wait till mama coon comes back and her babies are missing!
Was at the bank the other day and spoke to a "retired" old man in his 70's and said he went up north to check his trailer and those rats did $40,000 worth of damage! And he had no insurance on it.... felt so bad

Ding ding ding we have a winner. MAMA WILL BE BACK and pissed. Get some live traps up there ASAP!!!! I have seen them rip right through a roof trying to get back in. (shingles and plywood)
 
I covered the hole last night and put a heavy wheel on it just to cover it. I heard her trying to move it at about 1 am. I am picking up a live trap today and going to relocate her.
