Sneak peek of my latest endeavor

Why is that "Silver and Gold" song playing in my head..... :) Can't wait to see where you take this John! :thumbsup:
 
I've got some root beer brown candy I'm gonna use, should look good over the silver top, & I'm not sure what I'm going to do on the sides where the woodgrain was. I gotta do some spray outs & see how that root beer looks over the gold. It's a really yellow gold, so most candy's will change if I go over it with them. Reds will go orange-ish, blues will go green-ish, etc.
 
The transformation is almost complete!!
Well, not really, but it's closer. Skirts are gone. I still gotta wet sand the sides & roof so I can lay down some sweet sweet Kandy, & I've got a set of slotted mags I want to put on after I polish them up.
 
I didn't hate the skirts, but I figured with a nice set of wheels going on it, no sense in covering them up. That, & they tear up the paint, so if by chance I didn't like the way they looked after I flaked everything, I would've been committed to them.
