What do you guys use/like? I'm a Craftsman guy but I've got a few snap on air tools and a set of ratcheting wrenches. Besides that I'm a Craftsman guy.

Get your poll on....

Ok, I fucked up and didn't put a poll. SO just list what ya use. Or some mod can put a poll for Craftsman, Snapon/blue point, Mac, Matco, SK, Other

I too have an abundance of Craftsman tools. I have not used too many others yet so I am not sure what I prefer. Craftsman is just easy cause Sears is down the road a few miles!

X2:wink:

OLD craftsman tools are the best. The new stuff breaks too easy...

Other than that, MAC followed by SnapOn... Though SnapOn's are waayyyy too expensive - the best snapon tools are the screwdrivers and the snap ring pliers.

Snap On tools are very nice, but not worth it for a backyard mechanic. I have a smattering of Snap On, Mac, Matco, and Husky, but the majority of my stuff is Craftsman.

started with craftsman have mostly mac and snap on know strictly because of my superior garage/estate sale skills

For me it doesn't matter whenit comes to ease of getting the tools. At school we have a snap on guy, craftsman guy, and matco guy come in once a week. I just like Craftsman. I think its because they are moderatly cheap and lifetime warrenty with no questions asked. I break shit all the time but that's because I abuse my tools like its my job. Never had a problem with them taking anythign back. The snap on guy pratically wanted my life story when I stripped out a ratcheting wrench.

would love a set of mac or snapons..

best thing is to get the rachet sets from them for the smaller gearing..

and just use craftsman for the rest..

Great Neck ratchets available at AZ have excellent gearing at
a good price.

I like Craftsman and Great Neck tools.

Mostly Craftsman here. The old Craftsman Pro ratchets are by far the best, Snapons diamater is too small and just digs into your hand as do most of their wrenches. Snapon (Kobalt), Mac, Matco sockects I like better then Craftsman. Never had much luck with Cornwell and don't really care for SK. Gearwrench for ratcheting wrenches and Husky soft handles for screwdrivers. Klien FTW for Electrical tools.

I use to use all craftsman, they are not bad and are good for the price. But now i use mostly snap on. Never found a better drill the snap on 12v, by far the best thing i have ever used. and the new 18v, god damn!! But i do like the craftsman price and have never really had a problem with them whatsoever.

Not big on the craftsmen stuff becuase it tends to strip bolts/nuts like most of the cheaper tools out there.

see I've found that with snap on. Plus if they are tight the skinny ass snap on hurts the butt of your hand

The Craftsman garentee if unbeatable and the tools are prime but I'm a snap on guy. I think its because my dad was and I grew up using them.

99% Craftsman, here. And the best part, most of my tools were given to me new as gifts. Free quality tools = WIN! :D

If you break a regular SnapOn socket with an impact gun, the guy will know better and won't warranty it. If you break a Craftsman socket, they'll give you a new one no questions asked (because they can't tell the difference). I have mostly Craftsman stuff because it's affordable and Sears is everywhere.

Have you heard the K-mart commercial on the radio where they said that they're carrying Craftsman tools now?
