SN95 5.0 Mustang auto to 5-speed swap

There's a possibility that I will be converting my '95 GT to a 5-speed in the near future. How much of an undertaking will this be? What all will I need to complete the swap? This is what I can think of so far:

*Transmission
*Clutch
*Shifter
*Clutch cable
*Pedal Assembly
*Flywheel?
*Different engine computer?

What am I missing? This is my first Mustang and this would be my first auto-to-manual conversion, so I'm not sure.

I think you mean Clutch cable instead of shift cable. Pilot bearing, throwout bearing, Clutch fork. You should be ok with the same computer I would think.

It stands for Thick film ignition. Its basically your ignition module. I dont see why you would need a new one, they are just remotely mounted in your car vs. being mounted on the distributor in 87-93 cars

The spark and dwell maps in the module are different between an auto and manual car.

The starter capacitor(I think that's it) in the manual ecu is also different than the one in the auto. It can burn out if the key is held longer than normal.

You will need the bell housing, if you dont get it with the trans......If you need a bellhousing I have one you can have for free....It came off my 89, im sure its the same though.

I'm not sure whether or not modular/New Edge pedals will work either, I've never done this before.

I don't see why not, but a Fox T5 bellhousing will work with a SN95?

So is this all I'm missing: pilot & throwout bearings, shift fork, TFI?

Everything is the same as far as I know...So I cant think of why it wouldnt.

It's a T-5 IN THE 94-95. The bellhousing and input shaft is different on a SN-95 T-5 but a complete fox setup bolts right in..

Almost forgot I have the remote TFI from my car I'll give it to you when you come by.

Sounds good, though I'm not 100% sure if I'll do the swap. There's also a possibility of selling/trading this car for one that's already a manual.
