Slicks on the Street?

What's the reason for that? Your the second person I have heard say that.

Its happened to me before.....more than once...Im not a tire guy so I cannot answer the question....switched to bias ply tires and the problem was gone....maybe it was old school tires...not sure (bf goodrich t/a radials)
It gave no warning either...somewhere around 100 the rear end came around.

Yeah. It hooked great 3 out of 5 times last night. 2 of the times I had to peddal a little bit. Did you see me get killed by Jasons T/A? That was 800 to my 500hp. I think he was still spinning when he passed me.

what t/a was that? I saw Stan's white one, I thought anyway.

Damn, Im gonna try going to 10 and see if it hooks harded. What kinda power are you making greenrunk?

Tire pressure is different for every car. It all depends on your vehicles weight, tire size, suspension, stick or auto car......I run about 12-13psi on street or track, car pulls the tires on the street sometimes, depends on if/how hard i spray out of the hole and if i use VHT (which i almost always use). I drive on my slicks ALL the time with a locker. It rides fine at about 15-16psi if im going to be driving a few miles.

i want to know more about this. Sounds scary & dangerous I was gonna run the 275/60/15 m/t drag radial.

This is when you mismatch bias with radials. basically what hes saying is if your running a bias on the rear you need bias on the front. You will be fine with the MT drag radial and a normal radial front runner, just dont mix and match.
