What size are the bell housing to block bolts on a small block ford ? I am picking up a 74 351 block and just wanted to know so I can get some bolts to hang it on the stand ...

7/16 coarse thread if i remember correctly, i think you can get away with 3/4 to an inch of thread past the stand bosses. couple of the holes are open.

I posted 3/8 at first then I thought they were 7/16 14's

Yeah I got 4 7/16 2.5" bolts and they worked GREAT...

Yeah when there is only 4 (fingers) on the engine stand, 6 bolts won't do much good... LOL
