shipping a car

only need an open trailer haul, but needs to be reputable with insurance. My uncle had a Cadillac and fully restored Galaxy shipped last year. When it arrived, the car parked over the galaxy had an oil leak which dripped all over the white vinyl top, also a chain was dangling between the front of the galaxy and Cadillac which busted the caddys windshield and scratched/dented both cars all to hell.

Back in '04 I shipped my stang from Southern California here to MI and it cost $1200 (open carrier). I went through TNT. I had to go pick it up at their terminal in Detroit. The car had just been painted and they were nice enough to open the door numerous times into something and then didn't want to pay for it even though I had the pre-ship report showing no damage. Ended up appealing and getting the body shop quote cut in a check. Oh, plus the guy at the terminal in Detroit was a straight up a__-hole. So long story short, don't use TNT.
