Oil pressure is where it needs to be, no leaks. The only thing is a little valve noise from the lack of oil up there just yet, but that will go away once it runs a bit. For now I'm done, have to go get the kitty some food.

Thanks :) I JUST got done a little while ago. I still have to do the head gaskets though. The didn't have the ones I wanted in stock so I had to order them, so I didn't bother taking the heads off just yet. should be here tmw.

sweet! so are you driving it again or just gonna keep it in the garage until you get the head gaskets swapped?

That what we like to hear!!

Good job!

And if your gonna take your heads off, do some work to them!!!!

Not sure. My intent was to take it out today when in was nice, but I had to work over which pushed back finishing work on the car, then it rained...plus I didn't have a tow truck to follow me around

If it's nice tmw I might take it out for a bit even if my head gaskets come in. Then I'll go to work on the heads and that one leaky exhaust header.

The shop I went to sold the last set of graphite gaskets a couple days prior and I just didn't feel like going anywhere else since they were close to me and I was in no rush. The gaskets are just a graphite type that seal really well and pretty much instantaneous so I don't have to go back and re-torque the heads after the gaskets seat, plus they're good for S/C'd apps.
