My Mustang threw a P0123 last week for a bad TPS. That was after hitting a dip in the road and bottoming out the k member. Weird timing but the car was running perfectly fine before. I replaced the TPS with one from Autozone and the SES turned off but I had a high idle (1500rpm). Used a DMM and determined that the new TPS was only showing .45v at idle and wouldnt change at all when moving the throttle body. I replaced it with another AZ TPS and same deal. I tried the "bad" OEM sensor and that showed 5v at idle and wouldnt change either. Now I have a new Motorcraft sensor and I havent had a chance to check voltage but the SES is always coming back on after clearing the code and restarting the car after it has sat for a little while. The car idles around 900 rpm and drives ok but not as good as before the SES came on.

Do I need to set the voltage to what my tune is looking for? I remember Lidio's guy messing with the TPS while dyno tuning the car. Thats the only thing I can think of at the moment.
