Serpentine Belt Hell

After spending all day yesterday replacing all coolant lines and hoses on a 1998 Sunfire, I'm left with replacing the alternator and the dreaded serpentine belt. I've done it once before, with an extra set of hands, but this time I have to go solo. Any suggestions?

Take the mount off on the pass side.. makes life a little easier.

I did that when removing the top radiator pipe. That's the only way to get the pipe off (unless you cut 1/4" off of the stud).
I wound up using an old piece of stainless steel brake line and a clamp to keep tension on the belt as I torqued the tensioner with a broomstick. It only took about 10 minutes total. I was amazed, but the key was keeping tension on the belt so that it didn't slip off when torquing te tensioner. That's where I used my wife last time. She held the tensioner while I kept the belt tight and slipped it over the alternator.
Thanks for the quick reply.
