What is the deal with Mustangs and pulling onto the street from parking lots? I've seen at least 10 videos of some guy in a Mustang (always at least mid-90s...never a Fox Body or classic) pulling out of a parking lot, doing some kind of burnout or drift right into a tree, pole, curb, or oncoming traffic.

Aren't there lots of videos out there showing non Mustangs doing similar things leaving cars and coffee events?
 
A quick youtube search included first page results for the search burnout crash of: Charger, SRT10 Ram, GTO, Camaro, Holden Ute, Corvette, and of course Mustangs. Mustang week fails seem to be the most popular ones but Mustangs are far from alone in failing at burnouts in front of crowds of people on public roads.
 
These two Corvette drivers display all the skills that one must have to drive such a fine machine. Not a Mustang in sight.

The deal is that those cars are the best bang for the buck as far as rear wheel drive v8 cars are concerned. So cheap in fact even young or inexperienced drivers can afford them. Throw a few cheap mods in the mix and its a recipe for disasters.

It happens in all cars, but it sure seems to happen to mustakes more than the rest. Videos like these play through my hear every time i leave a meet reminding me it's not worth showing off lol

Group on FB with newer ford superddutys.... never saw so many crashed/flipped big ass pick ups in my life.... most from excessive power.... driver looses it.
 
Damn, that gold one wasn't even showing off.

The red one from Chicago was pretty epic. That poor beige mobile waiting to turn left and the other poor beige mobile traveling the other way made that a pretty epic fail. The white car probably saved that from being a lot worse as the Mustang could have gone straight into the oncoming grey car if it weren't there.
