SBF Short block help

I am looking to put some new life into my new beater 5.0. I have been looking at some remanufactured short blocks. I seen one that looked decent on Late made Restoration for 1300.00 [# LRS-6009EF ]. I only want to make around 350hp. Has anyone tried them or know where I can get a decent short block with a decent price tag. I have a 2k spending limit.
 
If you go with either a DSS or the other get the dart block upgrade. Its not that much more but leaves you in great shape for more power down the road.
