SBF FMX trans giving away

I am giving away an FMX trans and stock converter for a small block ford, otherwise it is going out to trash, it worked when I pulled it out,

what was better about the fmx over the c4? and is it a direct swap? i have a 68 Torino w/ a 302 i'm getting ready to restomod.
 
The FMX later turned into the AOD after a few version changes down the line. Its a fiarly strong trans but parts selelction is limited and they are a PITA to rebuild.

FMX is also a cast iron case with an aluminum bell housing, I have heard of people making them run good, but I have no interest, I would only suggest somebody use it for an original restore, but if you want it is free, I just hate to throw it out if somebody could use it,
 
yeah i think i'll pass. if i'm going to go thru the hassle of swapping tranny's than i'm going to put in a aod.
