SBF C6 trans questin?

First i'll say that I honestly don't know jack about autos,all my Foxbodys had 5 speeds other than one..Bought a C4 months ago which ended up being crap when told it was perfect,had 2nd to 3rd flare up..
How are the C6's ??Is it any better over the C4's and do they have the 2nd to 3rd gear issues..A guy im talking to has one thats fresh/rebuilt with R-servo and 2500RPM stall,would it be worth $400.00 bucks??My car should be around 300RWHP and he said its good to 500RWHP..
Also,
Will the C4 B&M shifter work with the C6 trans??

NVM guys..Buddy told me that the C6 robs alot of power so i'll wait until I find a good C4..

if you have a c-4 core just take it to rich and have him rebuild it, you will be farther ahead and know what you have.
