Running like crap

Go for the basics first....Pull all plugs check/replace if needed..Or if they look old. Check wires closely, check distrubuter cap and rotor. make sure there is fuel prssure, check fuel filter, if it looks old...replace it. It has to be one of those things, it doesnt sound like a major problem to me....Just a maintenance issue....hopefully.
Ok. I hope it isn't major. I don't exactly have money falling out my ass.. :crap: Thanks.

Assuming your secondary ignition is good, I would put my finger on the Coolant temperature sensor. During warmup, your ECU runs open loop; on a limited number of engine sensors. When the engine warms up to operating temperature the ECU goes into closed loop and runs on all engine input sensors. To sum it up, your fuel map in open loop is given by the the ECU. When it warms up the the fuel map is configured based on engine temperature. When running cold the CTS is ignored, and warmed up, it is one of the main sensor inputs. Hook it u to a scanner at autozone (free) and look at what temp your CTS says. Usually bad ones will say something like -32*.

This is assuming your secondary ignition is good IE Spark plugs and wires, Ign module, cap and rotor. I would also say it could be caused by a bad ignition coil. When warm, take a spray bottle full of water, and spray the cap, rotors, wires and plug areas. Listen and watch for an arc. it could be as simple as a ripped plug wire.

This is also assuming you did what everyone else said and checked your fuel pressure. Because a bad fuel pump and/or filter will cause it as well. Its just a big process of elimination.
