best way to roll the inner lips on the wheel wells?
i seen in a recent 5.0 or MUSCLE MUSTANG the eastwood company now makes a roller that bolts to the axle and rotates around the lip and you just keep increasing the pressure until its where you want it.

I have done them on 30 or so mustangs and I use a small hammer and a lot of patience. Just gradually work the material over.

Never seen this before, but its a pretty neat idea. I wonder how well it works.

But I agree with QuickLX. A hammer and some patience works fine too.

I also saw that, but being a college student can't afford that yet!

Diamnond has one of those at his shop and it works well, or a baseball bat...

I used a small propane torch ( the ones for soldering). heat up the metal and just tap at it. I used my floor jack handle cause it round a baseball bat will do the same. Once it starts rolling take the heat away and keep tapping on it. till there rollen in. You just want to make the metal warm not burn the paint off.

Felix (CitoCoupe on here) has done 2 or 3 of my cars with a body hammer and some patience. They've all come out perfect and the paint has never cracked. I was afraid to try it myself, I would have screwed up the paint for sure.

I've got a custom roller

If anyone needs they're wheels lips rolled lemme know I have one that is made specifically for a 5 lug mustang, I guess some mopars might work too.

that would be cool to maybe have everyone who would plan on using it on the site chip in some cash, and maybe have it "owned" by the club for club members to use/rent out. Its an expensive tool for something that you're only going to use once.
