OK, I bought this thing off of Craigslist for $125. It's an EOP (Elevated Optics Platform) upper which means it's designed for somebody looking to build a long distance shooter with a nice scope on it. I never used it and decided to go another route with it. I posted it for sale on another forum and got a PM saying that this upper previously belonged to a buddy of his who fucked me over via CL. He said it's "tweaked" and that you can't run a bolt carrier group through it. I tested it and it IS tight, but the bolt does cycle.
If somebody wants to try this thing to make it right, it might just need a small amount of machining? Or, if nothing else, you could scavenge the ejection port cover, forward assist, rear sight, etc off of it. Or just make something cool out if like a cigar lighter!
$50. Come and get it in Milan or near my work (Belleville). Or I will ship it on your dime.
