See what they post for entering the drag race

"Stay tuned for registration details for the drag racing component, we have an
excited revised format we will be releasing information on shortly!"

Hold on to your wallet!

Does it even cost that much to put a car in Auto-rama? Or any other car show known to man? (besides the pebble beach/ concour elegance or whatever the hell its called)

You're just paying to be able to park inside M1, I'll pocket the $90 and find someplace to park and walk from.

Send car pics in, and they will pick who gets to drag race next week

M1 is gonna make a killing. If the owner was smart he would of built a drag strip instead of a road coarse.

While it would be cool to have another drag strip, we already have 3 within reasonable distance while we only have one road course. Might as well have another option for a road course. I'd love to take my car out on the M1, it's what it was made for, that and playing on twisty back roads :)

Don't waste your time or money on this one unless you love Mopars. I raced last year, sat around all day to make one pass. I guess I'm grateful they're not blocking the road off the Friday before the cruise. I lost money on my parking spot because of this and then paid to race but one pass wasn't worth it. Shit is a joke.

They are doing it differently this year, all drag racers have to send in pics of their car they want to race, and roadkill will pick which ones are going to the event

Have both, a strip and a course all on one plot? That might bring in some people!

I'd love to have a strip that close, but do you think the people that live right there would approve of high horsepower cars doing burnouts and launching down a 1/4 mile strip?
