Rip gordie

RIP Mr. Howe, I'm too young to have seen you play, but I certainly appreciate what you've done for Hockey in Detroit. Time to re-think the naming of the new arena =-}

Damn. I had the privilege to meet him on multiple occasions, he truly was a great man. Lived for hockey and loved nothing more then to see kids playing. Rip.

My cousin played with him in 1979-80 in Hartford, Gordie,Mark and David howe, toward the end of the season Bobby hull was on that team also

No question about it.

Was fortunate to see him play a couple times toward the end of his career with the Wings. While not as fast then as the younger players he always seemed to know where the puck was going to be. Class act.
