Rhinoliner or Line-X, and who installs on the West side?

I need to get a spray-in liner for the new truck, what do you guys like, Rhino or Line-X?

The Rhino seems to have a grit to it so stuff doesn't slide around as much. I like this. But everyone seems to like Line-X better these days.

And who does these in Novi (or close)?

Please advise...

I don't know about others, but I've NEVER had a problem with Rhino. I've seen Line-X peel, but that could have been from the install. There is a Rhino dealer here in A2, but that isn't Novi.

I had the Rhino dealer in Ypsi (same one Trunk is talking about I believe) do my truck years ago and they did an awesome job. All the other places are Ziebart places and I dunno, I just get a better feeling taking it to "Rhino Linings of Michigan" where it's all they do.

I do like the look of Line-X better. Looks like there's a dealer in Brighton which shouldn't be too far from you.

I would choose LineX over Rhino lining

Both brands are very durable but I feel the LineX just looks much nicer

According to the website I linked above, that particular Rhino dealer is one of only a few in the US to have a new High Pressure application system that seems to indicate it'll have a nicer finish/look to it than previous. Might be worth your while to check it out and see if it looks better than the old/normal Rhino liners.

I had Line-X in my Ranger and had no issues with it what so ever. I had no issues with it peeling up. I did gouge it, but that was my fault. I unloaded a snowmobile by yanking it out of the back by myself.

they use Rhino lining on Strykers and many other military vehicles outside of the normal armor because its so good at spreading kinetic energy IE NOT GETTING CRACKED OR BROKEN

3 work trucks we had were Rhino and they were beat to piss, never had a problem. Did you ever see the Mythbusters when the used Rhino for making things bomb proof, bad ass

I think Line X is the better of the two personally. Thompson Automotive in Westland (Joy and Middlebelt IIRC) did my bumper a few years ago and I've had zero problems. My wife's cousin had his Wrangler done inside and out and wheeled it a ton and never had any issues.

I have Line X in the GMC truck... It has a few small scratches but I have beat the hell out of that bed without any issuses...

I've had Line-X since the first month I got the truck. Six years of abuse including the THunderstand stock engine and tranny rolling around back there and there are only a few nicks really. It's held up well to even a dirt bike doing a burnout in the bed once. :) I'd buy it again.

Justin also did my Ranger. He is a great person to deal with.

I'm redoing a patio furnature set for a guy right now and called just about every place on the west side. The only persn that wasnt dee dee deeeee was the line-x guys in brighton. Every one else was not very helpful.
