Retractable extension cord

I use the Bayco on Amazon that was like $40. Hangs in my rafters for easy access to charge my boat. It's actually great quality. Only 30 foot though.

Buy several Bayco 12gauge 30' ones with the triple tap on them. I haven't had an issue with any of them yet other than the plugs getting worn out after 10+ years of use. I think I have 6 or 7 of them between the detached garage and the basement garage. Place one near the garage door. I have one mounted inside that passes through an outdoor outlet box so I can pull it through the wall so I don't need the garage door open to use it.

I have broke 3 of the cheaper plastic reels (two Bacyo and one from Northern Tool).....Finally bought a Reelcraft reel and have never had an issue with it.

Come see me. I have like 10 broken ones.... cords are all bad from being dragged through oil. You can have one for free.
If you figure out how to fix them (cant be too difficult) Ill buy a spool of wire and pay you (or anyone else) that wants to take the time to fix them...

I took all 3 of mine apart and the part that broke on all of them was the plastic post that is molded into the housing that the gear slides over.....so it was impossible to fix. I cut out the cords and put ends on them so it wasn't a complete waste......I have a lot of 50' extension cords.

The Reelcraft unit I got has a steel housing and steel gears.

Mine just have bad cords from the environment they were used in. I was always too busy to take them apart so I just kept buying new ones.

How many feet are they? I might be interested.

I think most are 50 with a 12? guage wire, but how many feet you can load into the reel is going to be based on what size/diameter wire you use....
Most of these were drop lights... again, the coards are bad (cracked) because they were always getting coated in trans fluid... and if your looking for just a extension cord you will need to buy a plug.
If I get time in the next day or two I will dig them out...

No rush, I appreciate it
