Restoration labor rates.....

OK, I do this on the side....By day I'm in the metal stamping trade as a Diemaker (21 yrs) and on the side I do restoration work(10 years now)...Replace floor pans, quarters, patch panels, recover seats with repo seat covers, polish stainless, paint(have two Autorama winners-clients- so far), you get the point....What is a honest, going rate to charge someone for this type of work?

$50 to $60 an hour is fair. That's what I right repairs for on classic and vintage cars and I haven't had anyone call me cheap.

All depends. If you need to build customer base or bring in work 25-35 hr. If you're busy already and satisfied with the turn rate.. What ^ said.
