Replacing oil pan on 1995 E-150 Van

Has anybody ever taken this job on? From what I can see from first glance I'll need to disconnect the exhaust, remove the radiator, dipstick, motor mounts, and then jack the engine up about four inches and put blocks under it.

The only trick I don't see is how I get the pan off with the pump attached. I suppose I could drop it into the pan. Install could be a bit of a bitch though. Any thoughts ?

drop the pump into the pan, it is a PITA!!

and if the exhaust goes under the back of the pan, you can cut the pipe towards the pass side, and just unbolt it from the manifold on the drivers side, just weld the pipe back up when finished
