Replacing a GM Hydroboost Unit

Guys,

How hard is it to replace this as a DIY garage mechanic? I have a 2004 Tahoe with a leaking unit & the dealer wants $1k to replace it. A quick look appears that the list price on the part is ~$500, but I can get it @ GMpartsDirect for closer to $300. Then I'm guessing another 4 hours labor @ $100/hr.

I've onlyhad about 10 minutes to google this job. It doesn't look all that hard... doesn't appear that the brakes need to be bled, etc.

Any experiences?

Talking about the Hydroboost unit the master cylinder connects to correct? I'll seel ya one even better price then that... $200...

Not hard... Just time consuming with bleeding the system from air...
