removeing super glue from paintwork.

Acetone is a pretty good solvent for superglue. Not sure how it does on paint though. The good thing is that most girls have bottles of it laying around to remove nail polish.

Acetone will cut some aftermarket urethane finishes. There is a solvant made specifically for superglus and most plastic stores like Soltis plastic in White lake will carry it along with hobby shops that are big into RC planes and boats.

I have never tried to get superglue off paint with any particular solvants but I would recomend trying the solvant inquestion in a undisclosed concealled area in case it does try to disolve the paint.

A chemical engineer once told me that superglue is a water based agent and will brake down in wet aplications. I don't know how long it will take to brake down if kept wet but it may be a safe place to start. good luck
