I have a 95 Escort GT that I want to install a remote starter on. I'm wondering about doing it because its a manual transmission. I have herd a lot of bad stories about people installing an auto start on a manual. Did anyone here do that before, how did it work out for you. My friend is good with wiring and said he will help me out, but he isn't sure about it since its a manual.

if I were to do it, I would make up some kind of switch so it would only start if the shifter was in neutral, a couple switches in the console or something
