I like the Shelby's and was going to sell my '03 Cobra to buy one but I refuse to pay over sticker for it. I think that's ridiculous. Ford doesn't want to sell too many cars I guess. The test drive thing is a tough one. I agree I wouldn't want everyone driving(beating) on a car I was going to buy. If you have ever sold a performance car you can get some real yahoo test drivers.
 
Ford would love to sell more cars...but the dealers set pricing. This is the exact reason why I didn't buy a 96 Cobra when they came out. The dealer I went to wanted $5k over sticker...forget that.

If Ford would build more, we wouldn't charge over sticker. Guess what? Ford tried that with the 04 Cobra's and in the end they had a $3000 rebate to get them off the dealers lot. :pow:
