Recommendation wanted for a small air compressor...

Just a FYI that's just a cheap Chinese air compressor with that licensed with Snap On so they put their stickers on it. If you want a truly high quality, portable and quite air compressor check out California Air tools. They are more expensive then that Chinese snap on but way higher quality.

How big of a yard? You do not need a very big air compressor to blow out sprinklers....or very powerful....

Yes Sir, I understood that too. But for $149, is that still a good deal for what you're getting?

That looks almost identical to my little Husky that I got from Home Depot last year.

How much did you pay for it & what do you think of it now that
you've owned & used it?

I paid around $100 for it on sale last year (it appears they stopped carrying them in store, maybe I got it on their in store extermination). It has been a great little compressor, its sole duty was to fill tires and blow stuff off since I lived in an apartment at the time. Even now with the house, I'll use it to fill up tires while leaving my larger compressor to handle the air tools. If I get a trailer for the other car, I'll toss the Husky on the trailer for track use with out a second thought.

Yep, that is pretty much what I'm looking at doing with mine as well.

Being portable, will it be tossed in the vehicle a lot to be used on the road?
If so, home depot for best convenience and least hassle returning.

If no, harbor freight with an extended warranty package.

Harbor will be cheaper route iirc. Pay a little more for something durable from home but pays for itself in readiness.

I'm soon to be looking for just the opposite in size. 25-40 gallon compressor that is quiet, upright with a reliable reputation and is 220v.

I've used that Porter Cable one that moneypit linked in post #11 for the past several years and it's been a great workhorse. Would purchase again.

I've been using a Husky for years. Can catch sale on them. But as Ken posted great deal and good buy.

Also pick up one of the flexzilla hoses light weight and easy to store, you can get 25 footers for 20 or so on sale
