Recent Trip to Vegas and California - Many, Many Pics :)

I recently spent a week in Las Vegas and stayed with a friend who lives there. Trust me, it was very hot there and was over 110 degrees each and every day we were there. I worked on one of his cars and also a Harley Heritage he recently bought. The next car I will work on is his 54 Corvette...He has several bikes, the 70Z I got running for him last year, a 59 Cadillac limo which was in the Godfather II and a Testarossa, among other cars.

I also had a chance to head over to Fallbrook, Calif to visit with another good friend of mine, Dave, who also owns TrueSpoke wheels. We all had a chance to take out two of Daves cars, an original Pantera Group 3 race car and a Mangusta. Each of these cars is worth over $350k and we were out on the streets driving them! Among the other cars he owns is a DeTomaso Formula car in his huge living room, a unique 57 Cadillac Brougham and a very original 72 Cuda 440 - 6 pack. All of his cars are original California cars and are totally rust free.

And, don't worry as all of these pictures are hosted on Imgur and not the Motown site....

The greenish/gray/bluish car is a Mangusta which was the predecessor to the Pantera. The car pictured was in the Kill Bill Movie.

That Cadillac is awesome. The fact most of these vehicles are driven is great.

All of those cars are driven on a regular basis. The Cadillac has been driven the most and is basically his daily driver. Both the Mangusta and Pantera used to be driven quite a bit, but the value of those cars has gone up quite a bit within the past few years, so they aren't driven as much as they used to be. Both of those cars have been driven at different times from Fallbrook Calif to Monterey Calif for the Concours. That is a distance of over 400 miles each way.

The Pantera is SCCA vintage legal (due to its original Europe racing history) and was raced on a regular basis in the vintage races all over California.

FWIW - The Cuda is for sale. As I mentioned, it is 100% stock and is a Calif car. He has owned the car since about 1982 and has a complete history of the car. He just had the engine rebuilt and carpeting replaced. He is asking 90k O.B.O. You will not find a nicer car...

That was fun just to look at those cars! I can't imagine how much fun to
be there and drive them! Thank you for sharing!

Amazing collection! I always pictured myself having a huge car/bike collection when I got older. Instead I have one car that I have been buying a collection of parts for since 2000.
