The car is a 1993 Z28 with just over 100,000 miles on it. Mods are.....

3.73 gear
shift kit
SLP headers/Y-pipe
No converter
Hooker cat-back
BBK underdriven crank pulley
Taylor OTVC wire kit w/heat sleeves
Moroso cold air intake
throttle body air foil
160 thermostat
Hypertech chip
Vortech inlet elbow
17x9.5 ZR1's with Nitto drag radials
1.6 roller rockers

It went 13.6 @ 102 when I got it, but I have put some parts on it since then, and done some maintenance.
I am going to hit the track this coming weekend and hopefully get in the lower 13's.

I put on the rockers, headers, pulley, wires, wheels and tires, and the Hooker exhaust. It had an Edelbrock cat-back on it.
Funny thing is that just yesterday I was checking my TV cable and it was only allowing my throttle to open about 80%, so I'm sure that didn't help.

Have you ever seen that "grapes of wrath" LT1 car that GMHightech did? They put a lot of parts on it and it still only trapped 100 mph?

Yeah. lol.

A kid I know used to have a 97, and he had bolt ons like yours and ran 13.2s all day. You should be around there.

He added a cam, and it ran the same time. lol.

I do miss the Mustangs a lot. They are so cheap to make fast, I just go crazy on them. I plan to keep this car nice and driveable.
I put on an MSD coil today and ordered a custom tune from MadZ28.com.

You know a SS spoiler would look sweet on that car. SLP has them on sale right now for $129 (primered). I'd buy one but i'm broke right now. Just thought I'd give you a heads up.

Thanks Raj, I'll be up at Lapeer this Saturday. The wifes parents live up there so I'll kill two birds with one stone. Hopefully the chip will be in by then.

That spoiler is on my list for sure. I would love an SS hood too but those fuggers are pretty pricey.

Yea, the SS hoods are definitly expensive but probably the nicest hood for our cars (lt1 camaros) that you could buy. I always wanted to convert the spoiler and hood to the SS and then just remove the badges completely. Not looking to clone an SS but like the lines of the car better. I would snag that spoiler up in a heart beat but i'm short on cash, which sucks cause I dont know how long that sale will last.

Funny about the LT1 Camaro aftermarket stuff. I think the factory wheels, hood, and spoiler look 10X better than the aftermarket stuff out there. A classic cowl induction hood being the exception.
I really hate the ram air Trans Am scoop they sometimes put on a Camaro hood. The Camaro needs to have that chiseled look. Roundish and bulgey looks good for the T/A's.

Subtle is definitely the best look. Euro tail lights, F-40 wings, and a giant goofy hood and a welded in Flowmaster muffler seems to guarantee a 14 second or slower timeslip. :)
