reasonable place to get my engine bored

i need my block bore .030 over and dipped to remove the rust off it since its been sitting for awhile.

i've been going to baldwin automotive but those guys take for ever and arn't reasonable.

anyone know of a good shop for a good price in the oakland county area
 
Baldwin has always been one of the cheaper shops and I've always gotten
1-2 week lead time from them.:image_071 :tongue:
 
the guy that does all my machine work. He is top notch. the only problem is for a fast turn around I would need to arrange it with him. How fast do you need it ? I have a block thats going in the bar tommorow so it would leave him setup to run another one.

$450 labor
$35 cam bearings

Can have it done by tuesday/wednsday next week.

If you need refrences I can supply them.
